Train Door Solutions has designed and supplied key parts for upgrading Class 150/1 and 150/2 Passenger door systems.

The project was sponsored by Angel Trains to integrate into the C6 overhauls for Northern Rail. Porterbrook Leasing has since implemented the same upgrade on their fleets for Arriva Trains Wales and First Great Western. In addition, TDS have refurbished door actuators for Anglia Railways and Arriva Trains Northern.

All new components have service proven history. The parts from TDS have improved the reliability and performance of the door system by introducing the latest pneumatic valve and actuator technology. Functionality and safety of the system has been
maintained. Interfleet Technology has independently reviewed the door system upgrade against mandatory requirements and have granted engineering acceptance.

The parts are provided with a full 12 months warranty.

The upgrade consists of the following parts:

• Passenger Door Actuator
• Cab Door Actuator (on 150/2 only)
• Passenger Door Control Valve
• Air Supply Regulator
• Traction Interlock Switch
• All necessary Fittings and Tubing
